Porta Systems is a US based company which was established in 1969. They have been protecting some of the worlds largest telephone networks with surge protection including BT. In 2006 they introduced their range of Surge protected products for the CCTV industry. Haydon have the sole distributorship for this range of products in the UK and Eire.

This unit is also surge protected with a <5 ns response time. It also has a ground
lead to earth the unit for over voltage protection.

The 112 range are durable video balun combiners providing an economical solution for combing video, power and data.down a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP Cat 3 or better) for distances up to 1000ft (305m) cable. Negligible signal loss and distortion. **NOTE** the power will not generally travel the distance of 1000ft recommended no more than 100ft for power for the PTZ
The 112-45BC has an RJ45 connection into the unit with a female BNC ouput & Screw terminals for 24V power & data. Accepting wire gauges from 30AWG through 16 AWG
The 112-110BC has 110 IDC connection into the unit with a female BNC ouput & Screw terminals for 24V power & data. Accepting wire gauges from 30AWG through 16 AWG
***NOTE*** a 110 IDC tool is needed to terminate the cables to this unit.

This HUB unit allows up to 4 independent composite video signals to be run over a single unshielded twisted pair (UTP Cat 3 or better) for distances up to 1000ft (305m). Surge protected with <5ns response time. Grounded unit.
4 Female BNC connectors with screw terminals for unshielded twisted pair. Screw terminals accept wire gauges from 30 AWG through 16 AWG.
The SP2 range are specifically designed for PTZ units. There are 3 variants of the SP2 which gives maximum flexibility to the installer. These units are fully surge protected for the video, power & data. They all have inputs for Power (24V) one input for Video (see individual items for different video input) and also 2 input pairs for data.

The 211-ABR Actvice CCTV Receiver is an amplified device that allows the broadcast of video up to 5000ft (1524m) of CAT5 unshielded pair (UTP) cable or better. 12v PSU Included. If the 211-ABT transmitter is used on its own the distance is 2000ft (609m). When used in conjunction with the 211-ABT this extend the range to 7000ft (2133m) Built in tuning switches ensure negligible signal loss and distortion.
Comnplete with over volatge protection eliminating damaging voltage spikes.
Detachable screw terminals for easy installtion. To complete the active range their are 2 rack mounts available in a 4 way or 16 way unit. The 4 way will also fit into the HAYDON DVR enclosures.
